Welcome to St Mary’s School, Malton

We welcome everyone. We work together. We follow Christ’s example in all we do. We try to make our school a happy place where we can all do our best. We learn. We grow in faith. Our parents, teachers and other adults in school all help us.

I am very happy to welcome you to our school website! Our Mission Statement is reflected in the whole life of our school which is a worshipping community, nurturing the Faith of all those in our care. The spiritual, moral, emotional and social well-being of every child is a priority to us. We value the links between school, home and parish, recognising the shared responsibility we have in the all round development of all our children.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum enriched with visitors, visits, events and activities to inspire in each child a joy for learning. We expect all our children to be honest, respectful and caring to others and to work hard to develop a range of skills allowing them to achieve success now and in the future.

We provide you with regular information about all aspects of school life and offer many opportunities for discussion about, and celebration of your child’s progress. Working closely together we can ensure that both you and your child have a happy time through the primary years!

If you would like to find out more about our school, I extend a warm invitation to you and your family to come and see why St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is such a special place!
